GIVES BACK

We believe in Giving Back. Brandon and Shannon give 10% of their gross profit to CHARITY WATER to help build clean water wells. From the website, www.charitywater.org, "663 million people in the world live without clean water. That’s nearly 1 in 10 people worldwide. Or, twice the population of the United States. The majority live in isolated rural areas and spend hours every day walking to collect water for their family. Not only does walking for water keep kids out of school or take up time that parents could be using to earn money, but the water often carries diseases that can make everyone sick. But access to clean water means education, income and health - especially for women and kids."

UPDATE: We have given $56,000 to date to Charity Water to build 5 wells in Malawi, Uganda and Ethiopia in Africa. Stay tuned for updates on our well's progress. Or follow us on Instagram @austinmusclerestortion for late-breaking posts.

THIS IS OUR WELL IN MALAWI, AFRICA!

Please see the letter to all of us below from Charity Water:

Dear Brandon, Shannon and friends at AMR,

Thank you for your generosity.

In 2017, you made a substantial investment to support charity: water’s mission in Malawi as an official Water Project Sponsor, and we are thrilled to share that your project

is complete!

100% of your generous donation funded one drilled well.

Malawi consistently ranks toward the bottom of the Human Development Index, and last year the Malawi government highlighted water at the national level in their development strategy as a major concern hindering economic and social advancement. But that’s all changing—thanks to you! Your generous gift was part of a $1.25 million commitment that helped bring clean water to more than 44,983 people through the construction of 167 clean water projects located in the Mzimba District. Our local partner, World Vision (WV), works with communities to prevent diarrhea and other waterborne diseases by constructing and rehabilitating wells with handpumps, piped water systems, and sanitary facilities. To support their goal of reaching universal water coverage in all WV project areas by 2030, they are working on a district-wide approach in Malawi, achieving universal water coverage and working to make communities open defecation free one-by-one. This approach has proved effective, resulting in stronger relationships with the government and other important development implementers.

Since 2012, charity: water has supported World Vision in achieving universal water coverage in 6 Area Programs in the Mzimba District. To date, WV has achieved universal coverage in one of these areas (Mutchenda) and, thanks to your support, we’re continuing to make significant progress for the people of Malawi. I’ve been working as a member of the Water Programs team at charity: water for over five years and oversee our partnership, implementation strategy, and projects with World Vision in Malawi. During these years, it’s been an immense privilege to witness— firsthand—how life-changing clean water truly is for those in need. I’m honored to present you with this Completion Report, and to introduce you to a few of the lives you’ve changed by sponsoring a water project. Thank you for your overwhelming generosity, which brings our mission to life and provides hope to our beneficiaries.

Sincerely,

Michaela Walsh

THIS IS OUR WELL IN MALAWI, AFRICA!

Please see the letter to all of us below from Charity Water:

Dear Brandon, Shannon, and Friends at AMR,

At the end of 2017, you decided to be part of ending the water crisis by making a substantial investment in charity: water’s work in Ethiopia. The impact you have as a Water Project Sponsor is truly transformative, and we are celebrating with you today as you learn more about the work you’ve made possible!

100% of your generous donation funded one drilled well for people living in the Tigray region of Ethiopia. Thanks to you, we’re one step closer to making sure that every single person on the planet has access to clean and safe water. Your donation was part of a $5,241,738.78 commitment that funded 528 projects and brought clean water to 116,107 people! To ensure the long-term functionality of the work you’ve funded, our implementing partner, The Relief Society of Tigray (REST), trains WASH committees on the maintenance and operation of each water point. We’ve also partnered with REST to take the next step in sustainability by implementing innovative new technology. Remote hand pump sensors are installed to monitor water flow in real time and record data on water system performance. It’s an honor to present you with this Completion Report. In my role as a Senior Portfolio Manager at charity: water, I oversee our partnership, implementation strategy, and commitments in Ethiopia. It has been an immense privilege to witness how life-changing clean water is for those in need. You are bringing our mission to life and giving hope to so many.

Thank you for your overwhelming generosity.

Sincerely,

Sean Poole
